33. Application for intended retrenchment and manner of serving copy of such application to workers.--
(1) An application shall be made in Form- XIV by the employer to the Central Government electronicallyDefined in rule 2(b): electronically means any information submitted by email or uploading on the official portal or digital payment in any mode for the purposes of the Code, stating clearly the reasons for the intended retrenchment therein and a copy of such application shall be sent to the concerned workers electronicallyDefined in rule 2(b): electronically means any information submitted by email or uploading on the official portal or digital payment in any mode for the purposes of the Code, or in person, or by speed post.
(2) The application referred to in sub-rule (1) shall also be displayed conspicuously by the employer on a notice board or on electronic board at the main entrance to the industrial establishment.
