Qualifications, terms and conditions of service of Chairperson and MemberDefined in section 2(55): member, in relation to a company, means the subscriber to the memorandum entered in the register of members, every other person who agrees in writing to become a member and is entered in the register of members, and every person holding shares whose name is entered as a beneficial owner in depository records..—
Inserted by Finance Act, 2017, s. 172Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act, the qualifications, appointment, term of office, salaries and allowances, resignation, removal and other terms and conditions of service of the Chairperson and other Members of the Appellate Tribunal appointed after the commencement of Substituted by Tribunals Reforms Act, 2021, s. 28, with effect from 4 April 2021. Earlier read: "Part XIV of Chapter VI of the Finance Act, 2017 (7 of 2017), shall be governed by the
provisions of the section 184 of that Act"the Tribunals Reforms Act, 2021, shall be governed by the provisions of Chapter II of the said Act:
