42. Resignation of ChairpersonDefined in rule 2(f): Chairperson means the Chairperson of the Board and members of BoardDefined in rule 2(e): Board means the Central Advisory Board constituted by the Central Government under sub section (1) of section 42. - (1) A memberDefined in rule 2(o): member means a member of the Board of the BoardDefined in rule 2(e): Board means the Central Advisory Board constituted by the Central Government under sub section (1) of section 42, other than the ChairpersonDefined in rule 2(f): Chairperson means the Chairperson of the Board, may, by giving notice in writing to the ChairpersonDefined in rule 2(f): Chairperson means the Chairperson of the Board, resign from the membership and the ChairpersonDefined in rule 2(f): Chairperson means the Chairperson of the Board may resign by a letter addressed to the Central Government.
(2) The resignation shall take effect from the date of communication of its acceptance or on the expiry of thirty days from the date of resignation, whichever is earlier.
(3) When a vacancy occurs or is likely to occur in the BoardDefined in rule 2(e): Board means the Central Advisory Board constituted by the Central Government under sub section (1) of section 42, the ChairpersonDefined in rule 2(f): Chairperson means the Chairperson of the Board shall submit a report to the Central Government immediately and the Central Government shall, take steps to fill the vacancy in accordance with the provisions of the CodeDefined in rule 2(g): Code means the Code on Wages, 2019 (29 of 2019).
